Jee

Nationality: Fire Nation

Abilities: Firebending

Job History: Lieutenant of the Fire Nation navy

Relationships: Subordinate of Prince Zuko

Episode Appearances: "The Storm"
"The Blue Spirit"

Voice Actor: Jim Meskimen

The highest ranking officer on Zuko's ship, tasked with maintaining the limited military operations of the crew. While originally seeing his task as babysitting a spoiled prince, Iroh eventually explained to Jee the deep hurt Zuko had suffered and why the quest for the Avatar was the most important thing in his life. After a terrible storm threatened the lives of everyone aboard the ship, Zuko's brave actions gave him a deeper respect for his superior.

Bujing

Nationality: Fire Nation

Abilities: Firebending

Job History: General of the Fire Nation military

Relationships: Subordinate of Fire Lord Ozai

Episode Appearances: "The Storm"
"Sozin's Comet, Part 1: The Phoenix King"

Voice Actor: Daniel Riordan

A high ranking official within the Fire Nation who oversaw strategic operation of their forces. A plan to sacrifice new Fire Nation soldiers to a battalion of Earthbenders met with opposition from Prince Zuko, sparking an outrage that would eventually lead to the young man's exile from the Fire Nation.

Shinu

Nationality: Fire Nation

Job History: Colonel and general of the Fire Nation military

Relationships: Subordinate of Admiral Zhao, subordinate of Fire Lord Ozai

Episode Appearances: "The Blue Spirit"
"Sozin's Comet, Part 1: The Phoenix King"

Voice Actor: Nick Jameson

Once the commander of a stronghold key to the Fire Nation's conquest of Ba Sing Se, consistently supplying soldiers for the front line of that operation. He once had a run-in with Zhao over the use of the elite Yuyan Archers, having to that point been used as the security force for the entire stronghold.

He was later promoted to serve as one of the Fire Lord's advisors, suggesting a troop surge to protect their control over the Earth Kingdom before Ozai announces his intention to completely annihilate the landmass using the advanced Firebending brought by Sozin's Comet.

Qin

Nationality: Fire Nation

Abilities: Technical expertise

Job History: War minister of the Fire Nation military

Relationships: Commanding officer of the mechanist

Episode Appearances: "The Northern Air Temple"
"The Drill"
"The Day of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse"

Voice Actor: Kristoffer Tabori

The greatest genius of the Fire Nation, having either invented or engineered the majority of intense weaponry used by the Fire Nation, from tanks to airships. Perhaps his greatest achievement was a gigantic drill designed to penetrate the impregnable outer wall of Ba Sing Se, impressively impregnable itself from any outside attack.

Poon

Nationality: Fire Nation

Job History: Warden of the Capital City Prison

Episode Appearances: "Sokka's Master"
"The Day of Black Sun, Part 1: The Invasion"
"The Day of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse"

Voice Actor: Wayne Duvall

He had always held a deep resentment of General Iroh's extraction of troops during the siege of Ba Sing Se, so he was elated when Iroh was taken into custody as a traitor to the Fire Nation. He relished the opportunity to berate the once-revered general on a regular basis, unaware that Iroh was constantly exercising in his cell every moment he wasn't being watched. When the eclipse came, Iroh used the confusion to make a jailbreak, utterly stunning the man who had always put him down.

The Warden

Nationality: Fire Nation

Job History: Warden of the Boiling Rock

Relationships: Uncle of Mai and Tom-Tom

Episode Appearances: "The Boiling Rock, Part 1"
"The Boiling Rock, Part 2"

Voice Actor: Wade Williams

He has never taken his responsibility lightly, which is most likely how the Boiling Rock became known as the toughest prison in the entire Fire Nation. Until he crossed paths with Sokka and Zuko, he proudly maintained a record of zero prison breaks under his tenure as warden. When he was taken hostage in an effort to facilitate escape, he ordered the cable to the gondola they were riding in together to be severed, preferring to die rather than allow convicts to defy him.

Rough Rhinos

Nationality: Fire Nation

Abilities: Firebending, weapons expertise, explosives expertise, archery

Relationships: Subordinate of Iroh (Colonel Mongke)

Episode Appearances: "Avatar Day"
"The Desert"

Voice Actor: Malachi Throne (Colonel Mongke)

A private military contractor loyal to the Fire Nation, made up of five warriors with differing attack methods that ride around on komodo rhinos, from where the group gets their name. Colonel Mongke is their leader and the only Firebender among their ranks, Vachir is a former Yuyan Archer, Yeh-Lu uses bombs, Ogodei traps with bolas, and Kahchi wields a spear. They once attempted to capture the Avatar and his friends, once to capture a fugitive Iroh and Zuko, and once to conquer Chin Village, all in the name of the Fire Nation, failing miserably in each operation.

Yuyan Archers

Nationality: Fire Nation

Abilities: Archery

Relationships: Subordinates of Colonel Shinu, subordinates of Admiral Zhao

Episode Appearances: "The Blue Spirit"

Quite possibly the greatest known archers in the world, said to have pinpoint accuracy with their arrows. They are also extremely stealthy, able to move without detection by even the most seasoned of warriors. When commissioned by Zhao to capture the Avatar, they were able to accomplish their mission efficiently.

Yon Rha

Nationality: Fire Nation

Abilities: Firebending

Job History: Leader of the Southern Raiders

Episode Appearances: "The Southern Raiders"

Voice Actor: Tim Dang

Former commander of a military unit designated to rob the South Pole of its Waterbenders. When they had presumably only one remaining to be imprisoned, they encountered Kya, wife of the Southern Water Tribe's chief. She successfully lied to them about her identity in order to protect Katara from them, her defiant attitude prompting Yon Rha to kill her rather than take her away.

Years later, Katara was able to seek him out and planned to kill him for murdering her mother. However, seeing what a sniveling waste he had become in his old age, she honored her mother's kind spirit and chose to spare him instead.

Mung

Nationality: Fire Nation

Abilities: Firebending

Job History: General of the Fire Nation army

Episode Appearances: "The Painted Lady"

Voice Actor: Daniel Riordan

He was the head of a factory whose byproducts heavily polluted the river, leaving the citizens downstream with no prosperity. Katara couldn't stand to see this, and stole food and medicine from the factory to help the impoverished people. General Mung blamed the villagers for the thefts, and commanded his soldiers to burn their homes to the ground before Katara used the town's legend of the Painted Lady to scare Mung into never bothering the townspeople again.
