Hei-Won

Nationality: Earth Kingdom

Job History: Co-Founder and co-president of the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club

Relationships: Good friend of Won-Yee and Yee-Li

Issue Appearances: "The Promise - Part Two"

The most vocal member of the club, Hei-Won speaks with the cadence of a valley girl and the spirit of a cheerleader. Upon meeting Avatar Aang, she expressed her undying love for everything concerning the Air Nomads. When she heard that Aang and Katara needed a place to stay the night, she immediately invited them to spend time at their clubhouse.

Won-Yee

Nationality: Earth Kingdom

Job History: Co-Founder and co-president of the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club

Relationships: Good friend of Hei-Won and Yee-Li

Issue Appearances: "The Promise - Part Two"

The most reserved member of the club, she speaks softly and only shares her excitement in short shrieks. She was responsible for all design aspects of the clubhouse, modeling it after the Western Air Temple, though not quite as accurately as a true Air Nomad would hope.

Yee-Li

Nationality: Earth Kingdom

Job History: Co-Founder and co-president of the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club

Relationships: Good friend of Hei-Won and Won-Yee

Issue Appearances: "The Promise - Part Two"
"The Rift - Part One"
"The Rift - Part Two"
"The Rift - Part Three"

A good natured young girl who presented Aang with the gift of an Airbender's flute she had found at a flea market, an item Aang hadn't seen since he left the temple. When she overheard the Earth King's plan to invade Yu Dao, she sent a messenger hawk to warn other members of the Fan Club to prepare themselves.

Xing Ying

Nationality: Yu Dao

Job History: Co-Founder and president of the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club

Issue Appearances: "The Promise - Part Three"
"The Rift - Part One"
"The Rift - Part Two"
"The Rift - Part Three"

Strongly dedicated to the ways of the Air Nomads, Xing Ying insisted her chapter of the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club show as much authencity as possible, from their robes to their haircuts, even going so far as to give themselves tattoos. Those marks discouraged Aang, feeling their true meaning had been undermined, so Xing Ying later had all members tie headbands to cover their offensive marks as an apology.

In support of Avatar Aang come what may, they stood at his side during the march on Yu Dao, risking their own lives to maintain peace between the nations, even with Aang's repeated plea that they stay out of the line of fire.

Jingbo

Nationality: Yu Dao

Issue Appearances: "The Rift - Part One"
"The Rift - Part Two"
"The Rift - Part Three"

The first male Air Acolyte of record. Being the smallest, he feels it his duty to take on larger tasks to make up for his stature, such as carrying all of the supplies for Yangchen's Festival.

He also has quite the rebellious streak, taking it to heart rather instantly when Avatar Aang informs him that sometimes rules must be broken in order to achieve means. He seems to have a thing for Yee-Li.

Official Avatar Aang Fan Club

Nationality: Various

Issue Appearances: "The Promise - Part Two"
"The Promise - Part Three"

A collective of teenage girls who worship the ground Avatar Aang walks on. They show their support through numerous means of expression, from clothing and shelter to the deeds they dedicate themselves to. While this cavalier attitude to a sacred way to a life initially upset Aang, he eventually realized that without anyone else to love and nurture the customs and traditions he grew up with, those ancient ways would die with him. So, following the dissolution of the Harmony Restoration Movement, he formally rebranded the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club with the new title of the Air Acolytes.

The Ba Sing Se chapter was known for their distinctive dresses with a hand-drawn image of Aang on the front, while the Yu Dao chapter opted for more authentic robes, haircuts and even tattoos.
